Bob Lima was born in São Vicente, Cape Verde, in 1982. He left the island in 2000 to study Audiovisual in Porto (Portugal) and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), working various jobs, including TV sports intern and freelance photographer. Upon returning home, he founded his audiovisual company in 2013, and over the years has writen, directed, edited, photographed, and produced across several Cape Verdean islands, for national and international productions, namely for Latin American behemoth TeleSur. In 2018, he launched Cape Verde’s first water sports magazine (print and digital), which he still manages alongside an awards gala and surf festival.
