Patrícia Moreira is the author of the books THE NEW PORTUGUESE IDENTITIES and THE BAGGAGE OF IMMIGRATION. She holds a degree in Linguistics from Aix-Marseille University, France, where she lived for several years. She completed her master's degree in Portuguese as a Non-Native Language at the University of Minho, Portugal. She was invited to contribute to the 38th edition of GERADOR magazine with the short story THE DAUGHTER (Fidjo Fêmea). Her first feature screenplay, LIVES (Vidas), was been selected as a finalist in the 9th Edition of the Guiões Festival, winning the MUTIM 2023 award and being shortlisted as one of the 25 most interesting projects in the Pitche Me! 2023 call for submissions. She is currently a screenwriter for the audiovisual project DJUNTA MÔ.
